We have two products available for mold release: Wax, and Polyvinyl Alcohol.

Silicone
It's also possible to use silicone molds as a type of mold release. Though there are two things I know about these: 1) they will wear out and 2) the quality of silicone varies from vendor to vendor, and you may have to pay a bit to get quality silicone.
I have seen the use of mold making machines to make custom silicone fixtures, though we don't have one in house currently. I am guessing the one I saw was a vacuum based machine, and it worked from the top to bottom (so only certain shapes are possible).
