Here are some notes with regards to safety and the products we sell.
Safety Equipment
- Safety Goggles
- Respirator - Recommended for large jobs.
Generally Hazardous Products
- Acetone - flammable
- Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide - flammable, corrosive, hazardous to humans. Avoid skin contact.
- All resins are flammable, and will burn for a long time.
General Tips
- Urethaning or application of resin should be done with a Respirator w/organic filters.
- You will want an adequate supply of disposable gloves.
- Glass fibers can be hazardous when sanding. Work in an appropriate area, w/proper mask and ventilation.
