General Tips

  • Urethaning or application of resin should be done with a safety mask w/organic filters.
  • Always wear (preferably disposable) gloves.
  • Glass fibers can be hazardous when sanding. Work in an appropriate area, w/proper mask and ventilation.

In this video by the USCSB, you can see how epoxy resin use in a maintenance pipe, caused death by smoke inhalation for the workers inside. Epoxy resin will burn for a long time and generate a substantial amount of smoke.
